CDW at the CWIEME 2009 - Thin electrical steel strip between 0.20 and 0.35 mm
From 5 May to 7 May C.D. Wälzholz presented its range of electrical steel strip at the CWIEME in Berlin. Of particular interest was the new, extremely thin CDW electrical steel strip with strip thicknesses of between 0.20 mm and 0.35 mm – optimally suited e.g. for applications in hybrid drives.
In motors with medium and low speeds thin electrical steel strip will achieve significantly lower heat losses and thus considerably higher overall efficiency.
CDW can supply grades M250-35A to M330-35A (0.35 mm thickness) according to EN 10106 as well as NO20 (0.20 mm thickness) according to EN 10303 as standard products. On request we will also produce other thicknesses to suit your individual requirements.
Electrical steel strip can be coated with all organic or inorganic standard varnish systems as well as with our proven and tested self bonding varnish.
