Coil Winding 2011 – Thin sheets for e-mobility and self-bonding technology

At this year's Coil Winding Fair from 24^th May to 26^th May CDW as well as more than 680 other companies from 40 countries presented themselves - another new record for the Berlin Fair!

The numerous visitors were highly interested in the material concepts by CDW: We presented our innovative electrical steel strip materials as well as efficient and environmentally-friendly coating systems, e.g. for CO₂ - neutral power generation plants or for viable and sustainable drive concepts in vehicle construction.

Above all, e-mobility was one of the most frequently discussed issues during the fair. Therefore thin electrical steel strip with al low core loss and thicknesses of 0.20-0.35 mm was often the focus of discussions - also at the CDW stand.

Not least because of the requirements of the European efficiency guidelines, visitors were particularly interested in the efficiency increase of electric motors by means of our low-loss and highly-permeable electrical steel sheets.
