By means of soaps and phosphate we produce a multi-layer lubrication system on the material surface, which is solidly connected to the metal. This procedure makes the further application of lubricants almost completely redundant - e.g. during the deep drawing process - and also reduces tool wear by minimizing friction.
Furthermore, Bonderized steel strip has some other excellent properties: it allows extreme metal forming in few drawing steps and without intermediate annealing for all end products. In ball bearings of inline skates, for example, it guarantees an easy and quiet driving pleasure. In the inner parts of a sailing boat winch it facilitates the adjustment to every storm force.
We produce Bonderized steel strip in three different designs. The strip can be phosphated and soaped on one side or on two sides with thicknesses of approximately 1.5 µm; we also offer extremely thin layers of approximately 1.0 µm.
