Cold rolled low carbon steel strip

Cold rolled low carbon strip is used in a number of different applications, primarily when high requirements with regard to workability, dimensional tolerances and surface characteristics have to be met - it offers considerable advantages for our customers!

The application range of this material is enormous. It ranges from metal furniture fittings of all kinds and pull out rails for drawers to lipstick tubes; furthermore, the automotive industry appreciates this reliable and robust material as clutch and friction disks in motor vehicles.

CDW has shown an extraordinarily high level of application orientation when selecting material for welding wire. By optimizing chemical compositions we have managed to avoid spraying in welding processes and we can guarantee the necessary toughness of our cored wire even with low temperatures by means of tests such as e.g. the notch impact test.

HICON batch type annealing furnaces and continuous annealing lines guarantee exactly coordinated heat treatment processes, which produce material with its special characteristics. These solutions give our customers crucial advantages for further processing, which we can increase even further by optimizing processes like packaging and dispatch in oscillated wound coils.
