CDW has two subsidiaries in Asia.
The Service Center in China named Waelzholz New Material (Taicang) Co., Ltd. is 100 % owned by C.D. Wälzholz. It operates as a warehouse and slitting center and is also responsible for distribution of our products.
Taicang Wälzholz – Kern-Liebers New Material Co., Ltd. - is a joint venture between our longterm customer and partner "Hugo Kern und Liebers GmbH & Co. KG" and CDW. This company produces texture rolled steel strip.
Both companies are located in Taicang, an up-coming industrial city north of Shanghai, on a site of 6,000 m². In the mid of 2007 we erected two companies that are equipped with most modern technology in order to serve our customers in China.
