Brazil
In São Paulo the approximately 500 employees at Brasmetal Waelzholz S.A. produce more than 100,000 tonnes of steel every year. Thus this plant has reached a top position in South America with a market share of more than 35 %. It produces surface-refined and continuously annealed cold rolled high and low carbon steel strip. Product and process development for Brazil is coordinated and controlled by our head office at Hagen (Germany).
