Oberkochen

The location Oberkochen has a more than 100 years old cold rolling tradition. The plant in the Swabia has been founded in 1907 and specializes in phosphated steel strip – the so called bonderized steel strip. In this field of activities we are one of the leading companies.

The entire product spectrum comprises of soft unalloyed steel strips according to EN 10139, case hardening-, hardening- and spring steel according to EN 10132 - also in hardened and tempered condition – and soft magnetic steels according to EN 10304, each in either bright or bonderized condition.

With state-of-the-art equipment we produce strip thicknesses between 0.2 to 4.5 mm and strip width of max. 410 mm. Bonderized strip steels provide for excellent forming properties, extreme forming ratios, few drawing steps, high number of cycles and even wall thicknesses at minimal tool wear.

Besides highly specialized hardening and tempering lines we run sophisticated slitting lines. Those machines guarantee excellent quality for all thicknesses
